Great little diner in Shippensburg. I stopped there with my wife the day after a concert at the Performing Arts Center. The service was excellent. The food was very reasonably priced, and the quality of the food was very good. Big surprise, I had to try out the sausage biscuits and gravy. It was better than average. I'm guessing for my conversation with the waitress that they don't make their own biscuits which is a bit of a shame, but understandable given the time required. Homemade biscuits would definitely step this meal up a bit. My wife had the Ship breakfast which included a side of their French toast. This is not your mother's French toast, as they dip the Texas toast in a pancake-like batter. Definitely a little bit different and quirky but good. The menu isn't huge but it met our needs well. We noticed while we were there that the local fire/ems staff eats here which is always a great recommendation for a breakfast restaurant in my opinion.

We Went while attending a local show over the weekend. Small quaint place. All the food was very good. I got the turkey club with fries. I liked the style fries and how they were cooked. The club was thick and tasty but a bit small. Other than that it was excellent Prices were extremely reasonable and service was solid. We almost went back later but decided to try another place instead for something different. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped here for breakfast prior to a college visit in the area. Service was fast and friendly and food was delicious. I had a simple fried egg with bacon and crispy home fries. My daughter had blueberry pancakes. They were thick and fluffy...and filling. I recommend this place for breakfast if you are in the area.

Local old-time diner modernized. First diner I know that has WiFi. Quick and good service. Had hot tea, one overeasy with rye... served with a smile and a good load of soft and creamy real butter.

The only thing better than the local feel of this diner is the food. With the huge portions and cheap price, any meal will be sure to fill you up. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It all has that local diner taste that everyone loves. With any dish you get make sure you get a buttermilk pancake or two to go with it. Highly recommended.

Very nice place with a very peaceful atmosphere. The bacon and eggs (over-easy) were very good. I also had French toast that was egg dipped, which were very good and you can also get them batter dipped which would make them sweeter and more like a pancake. I will try that next time. Highly recommended.

Out of town asked hotel for diner breakfast...The Wheelhouse Cafe didn't disappoint. Nice clean place. Definitely that local diner feel. Good diner coffee. Over medium eggs cooked just right. Asked for crispy bacon...came out crispy not burnt like someplace do. Asked for the mini hashbrown cakes...really good.
